Spirit attachment - what do you think?

I'm sure most of you are aware of this already, what do you think about the auctioning of items supposedly having spirits attached to them, or being possessed or 'haunted'. Surely eBay and other online auctioning websites wouldn't allow this if they thought it was not for real? Or would they? I'm not sure.
